You are young, has lovely work, some friends and absolutely no time to go with friends to cafes, restaurants and country trips. Online acquaintances are made especially for such people. The only tool there is computer with Internet. Business people suffer from lack of time, they can’t live without computers, such solution of the problem is done especially for them. However some of us have time, have a lot of friends at everyday life but still crazy about internet communication. This means is a perfect way to find someone who thinks like you do, who share your views and opinions. Thank you Internet!

Thank you, classmates for such a fantastic presentation.

Presentataion 1: Distance learning

Filed under: Uncategorized — zhannav @ 2:58 am

Several lessons ago we listen to the presentation that regarded to distance learning. Such topic impressed me a lot. It is very important for students to be aware about such opportunity. There are so many life unexpected situations that force us not to study for a semester or more. Time is wasting, educational fee is growing and student just has no opportunity to come to the university and as a result just spend his time far away from university.

Thanks to students that did the presentation I know that I have opportunities to study online and take two or three classes and learn them at home. Also there are so many opportunities to take certificates after online graduation of online courses.

Thank you classmates for such good news!

The third mini- project. Weblogs

Filed under: Uncategorized — zhannav @ 10:57 am

The New Information Technologies was full of important and needed information for me, especially as for a journalist. Someone could think that such topics can be obvious and used day by day. I don’t often use internet, I don’t like shopping online, reading books in the web, communicate with people in unreal internet world. The way when I use it is searching for information for presentation and papers. So many topics were discussed, so many new things I realized and think will use all the known information for a long time.

We have learned sousveillance and International Context, Recognition, NITs; Crowedsourcing; different types of blogging and many other.  However if I have to choose the most interesting topic I will definitely name blogs. This tool of new type of journalism impressed me the most. So many people use it at everyday life, so many newest information appears in the internet due to this invention of people.

First of all I would like to tell what does it mean “Blog”- it is a user- generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog). Before web logs appeared at our lives, digital communities took many forms, including such services as: Usenet, Genie, Bix, CompuServe and BBS. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog). The usage of such services became global in the middle of 20th century, I suppose mostly from the very developing of internet.

Blogging is one of the most powerful means for exchanging the newest information, communication, finding of adherent in lifestyle and beliefs. So many types including blogging about politics, markets and economics, beauty online saloons, education appear every day. The most important here is not to become a part of online blogging life but blogging to become a part of our life!

Filed under: Uncategorized — zhannav @ 1:38 pm

NTV is a huge company that broadcast even in
Africa. It has daughter companies and constant partners. All the success that it has now was making during all the time of existence of the company from the very beginning. At the time of origin, NTV had to cooperate with different companies, in order to produce the ad or to find the news. There were big sums of expanses on such things. Nowadays the situation is absolutely different. They produce their own advertising; they produce their own design for programs that are done exactly by NTV’s professionals.  There is no need to pay other people for help. Now they exist only due to themselves. Moreover, a lot of different and even developed media companies pay them to produce ad or to make design for the new program. The reputation is really good. In spite of the fact that there were several scandals concerning to the top management or TV journalist. No doubt, some programs are closed if “someone” doesn’t like it; some programs are opened if “someone” wants it. However, this question of media freedom, it doesn’t stop the development of the channel. The audience knows these facts, but still trust because mostly NTV gives us right information. The number of viewers rises from day to day, this is the best index of popularity.

Designer’s era

Filed under: Uncategorized — zhannav @ 7:38 am

Each year more designers are added to the international fashion calendars. However Paris, Milan, New York and London are still show capitals of the world, many other cities also creating fashion show events, which give chances to future talents. More fashion colleges are producing more students who enter an industry, which continues to grow every year. Money and credibility are major considerations for any designer today and fashion- buying customer is better informed than other time in the history. It makes both designers and customers are more innovative in case of clothes choice. There are more fashion boutiques, department stores and retail outlets than ever, more people entering fashion institutions that fuel the industry around the world and more TV- time and news coverage that is hungry for a glimpse of glamour. Fashion captures the moment and reflects a couple of seasons- these visual impressions make the memory of that day, month, year to keep eyes open and be attentive to everything that designers do.

The group’s work for WIKI

Filed under: Uncategorized — zhannav @ 7:33 am

The work under the project of Wiki didn’t bring too much surprise. All the members of my group participated equaly. To the time of submitting the Wiki the whole task was done properly.

We decided to separate the topics and everyone selected the theme she liked. Some of us left Almaty and went to their native towns. I, for example staed there. So, we communicated through the internet. This tool is essential nowadays. To the date “X” we met together and united the written parts of every member of the group and piblished it.

To sum up, I liked to work with my group members and would be glad to do this again.

Bush’s biography

Filed under: IR — zhannav @ 3:51 am

George Walker Bush was born in July 6, 1946. He is the 43rd and current President of the
United States, inaugurated on January 20, 2001. He was re-elected in the 2004 Presidential election. He formerly served as the 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. A Republican, he belongs to the politically influential Bush family, being a son of former president George Bush and elder brother to Jeb Bush, Governor of Florida.
He was president during the September 11, 2001 attacks and responded by declaring a global War on Terrorism. In October 2001 he ordered the invasion of
Afghanistan to overthrow the Taliban and destroy Al-Qaeda. In March 2003, Bush ordered the invasion of Iraq, asserting that
Iraq was in violation of UN Resolution 1441 regarding weapons of mass destruction and had to be disarmed by force. Following the overthrow of Saddam Hussein’s regime, Bush committed the U.S. to establishing democracy in the Middle East, starting with Afghanistan and
Iraq.
Historical background.  Bush sworn into his second term on January 20, 2005 by Chief Justice William Rehnquist, watched on by First Lady Laura Bush and their daughters Barbara and Jenna Bush, as well as Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.Bush was inaugurated for his second term on January 20, 2005. The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice William Rehnquist. Bush’s inaugural address centered mainly on a theme of spreading freedom and democracy around the world. For his second term, Bush assembled what is regarded as one of the most diverse
U.S. cabinets in history, with the appointments of the first Hispanic American U.S. Attorney General and Commerce Secretary, as well as making Condoleezza Rice the first African American woman to head the U.S. State Department. Bush retained Defense Secretary Don Rumsfeld, whose dismissal had been demanded by many in the U.S. Congress. During a visit to the

Republic of
Georgia on May 10, 2005, Vladimir Arutinian attempted to assassinate Bush. Arutian threw a grenade that failed to detonate which eventually landed in the large crowd some 18.6 meters (61 feet) from the podium where Bush was delivering a speech.
In August 2005, with his nomination of the controversial John Bolton as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations filibustered by the Senate, Bush took the rarely-used expedient of installing him via a recess appointment. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid criticized this action as an abuse of Presidential power. In 2006, Bush replaced long-time chief of staff Andrew Card with Joshua Bolten and undertook major staff and cabinet changes with the stated intention of revitalizing his Administration. In November 2006, Bush announced plans to replace Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld with former CIA Director Robert Gates, in response to pressure from the midterm elections and military publications.
